[OLYMPICS] Olympic News: London 2012 Logo Unveiled

The organisers of the 2012 Olympic Games to be held in London, England have released a widely condemned logo that has been described as "a disfigured swastika, an arrangement of beer mats, a window kicked in by a football, a graffiti tag, a toileting monkey and a scribbled joke." according to an article from the Brisbane Times.

You can check out the logo for yourself at http://www.smh.com.au/news/sport/a-disfigured-swastika/2007/06/05/1180809482334.html and from a personal standpoint it looks pretty ordinary. I think the swastika description is a bit of a reach but perhaps its best feature is the 0 from 2012 (in case you couldn't figure it out when you clicked the link - the logo is actually:

20
12

Because if you look at the 0 it looks remarkably similar to a past emblem used to represent an outline of the Australian mainland.

Good to see that Australian influence finally making progress in the UK after just over 200 years!
